It will not fit the old Pro which has a flat back with ridges. It offsets the doorbell over the bricks and away from the door. So if doorbell is too close to the swing of the door, this is what you will need. Different Extesnsion Lengths starting at 1/4in. THIS IS THE FULL OFFSET --- FULL OFFSET MEANS THE DOORBELL IS FLUSH WITH THE SIDE OF THE MOUNT AND IS AS FAR OVER THE BRICKS AS POSSIBLE. If you dont need the full offset and you want an extension that is about $10 cheaper the standard offset leaves about 3/8" in on the door side.
