The ProAc D30DS offers a silk dome air cooled tweeter, utilizing the same high-quality HF units found in the D48/D48R models and so provides an excellently clear and well voiced sound. The classic ProAc split crossover design allows for bi-wiring and bi-amping adjustments. ProAc has developed a specific bass driver for this model, featuring a cone made from pulp and mica, coated with acoustic dope. This driver now includes a phase plug to enhance detail at the crossover point, resulting in a more natural sound. The crossover network employs top-tier components and multi-strand oxygen-free copper wiring. The Response D30S models offer an exceptionally flat response, with the bespoke bass driver and crossover providing improved midrange detail and a wider soundstage. The D30S delivers an exceptionally accurate portrayal of music, with excellent midrange detail and low coloration. This speaker is also easy to drive, thanks to a crossover using the finest quality components and beautiful nickel silver terminals.
