Australis Passion is a rare compact protea with creamy pink feathery flower bracts surrounding a dark centre. The protea flowers from autumn to spring; providing a stunning splash of colour to the garden during the colder months and supplying food for birds and bees. Plant as a feature, into tubs, shape into a low hedge or mass plant for a stunning effect. As with all proteas, Australis Passion is a fantastic cut flower. Be sure to use a native soil mix when planting. Exotic potting mix or exotic fertiliser will kill them. Soil: Well-drained soil. If you have clay soils, use mounds to facilitate drainage.
