The ProComm PT-99 Proton is a premium, 1/2-wave fibreglass base station antenna designed for serious DX operation on the CB 11-metre band and 10-metre amateur radio band. With an impressive 9.9 dBi gain, 2000W PEP power handling, and a tunable frequency range of 26–30 MHz, it's factory pre-tuned for the CB band and easily fine-tuned via two threaded counter rings on the coil. Built from rugged 4-piece fibreglass construction with hard chrome-plated ferrules, it's extremely weather and UV resistant for long-lasting outdoor performance. Standing at 565cm tall, it assembles quickly by screwing together and securing with snap rings, and mounts via two included steel U-brackets on masts up to 40mm diameter.
