Prodentis is the oral formulation in the BioGaia range, made to dissolve in the mouth rather than be swallowed.Each lozenge contains L. reuteri Prodentis, combining strains DSM 17938 and ATCC PTA 5289, with zinc, in a base of isomalt and xylitol with natural flavourings.The delivery is the point. A capsule swallowed whole passes the mouth in seconds; a lozenge allowed to melt keeps the cultures in contact with the mouth for minutes. That is why BioGaia specify a different strain pairing here from the one in their digestive products.For adults. Let the lozenge melt in the mouth, ideally after brushing, and use daily.
