Crabgrass is an annual grassy weed that germinates in spring, grows lime green and large during summer, and then, towards late fall, drops seeds. The best time to apply Prodiamine is in the spring or fall, as soil temperatures are between 55°F and 70°F. This will give you approximately 3 months of pre-emergence protection.
