BUAISOU is an indigo dyer and artisan from the Tokushima Prefecture, which is famous for "Awa Ai" or Awa indigo. BUAISOU is involved in the entire creation process. This process includes cultivating indigo plants to traditional dyeing. Care instructions *comes with a special box Tokolo Musubi Arabesque in the Golden Ratio The arabesque pattern, inspired by mathematical curves is part of Mr. Tokolo's journey into discovering a modern arabesque pattern. The curves of the arabesque tendrils are drawn and arranged based upon the golden ration. The composition, with the arabesques grouped in the lower right corner of the furoshiki, is specifically designed to compliment and accommodate the furoshiki wrapping. The furoshiki displays a sophisticated and elegant impression when wrapped in such a way that on the lower left, the artist's signature can be seen. The furoshiki is dyed using the "Bassen"(bleach dye) method. This technique starts with the furoshiki being dyed in a solid color. Then, a special mold is applied to the patterned areas.
