Tako Kimono is a statement piece, a must have in any capsule wardrobe. Because it doesn't follow trends, it never goes out of fashion. Inspiration Tako Means Octopus in japanese language. Our latest launch was the “Tako” Kimono Inspired by the ancient legend of the giant octopus “ Akkorokamui”, feared by the men of the island of Hokkaido who did not dare go near the sea during sunrise and sunset. They said that even the sky turned red when this creature emerged from the waters. Akkorokamui octopus is today a symbol of power, rebirth and seduction. And so are Gōkana women. Any questions?
