STEP 3: Before installation, trim the membrane to the proper length. Use a 10 cm overlap along floor-to-wall junctions and a 5 cm overlap in other membrane areas. STEP 4: Apply the waterproof membrane to the flooring using the proper tile adhesive and a trowel with a 3mm x 3mm notched edge. STEP 5: Using butyl tape, MS polymer adhesive, or waterproof glue, check and confirm that vital portions or corners are waterproofed. STEP 6: Lay the flooring tiles directly over the FOILTEC membrane using tile adhesive.
