Detect PROFINET installation problems accurately within a few feet The PROlinetest is an indispensable tool for installation and troubleshooting in PROFINET and Industrial Ethernet. It detects installation mistakes and it checks wires and wire pairs for continuity, interruptions, short circuit, mixing-up and exceeding of line length. By measuring the total length of the cable and the distance to the error, the line tester facilitates a troubleshooting enormously. The big graphical display and the intuitive menu guidance allow a simple handling. Due to the configurable cable database unknown cables and wiring diagrams are a thing of the past. The usual cable assignments for PROFINET, T-568A and T-568B are already available. The tool checks all connected devices for availability of Power over Ethernet (PoE) and which power level is supported. A certification of the cable connections according to Class or CAT and a storing of the measurement results are not provided by the PROlinetest. Instead, we quote the ETHERtest V5.
