Project 09 /\ 14er SS | On the Path Series - Endurance Endurance is the foundation of the summit. In the On the Path Series, we honor the journey through three pillars: Strength in the Spring, Endurance through the Summer, and Courage in the Fall. As we enter the heat of the season, we shift our focus to Endurance—the grit to keep moving when the air gets thin and the trail gets steep. The Project 09 /\ 14er Endurance Hooded LS was born out of a high-alpine mission in Colorado. But as any mountaineer knows, the mountains don't always play by your itinerary. When altitude sickness and unexpected conditions closed in, the mission pivoted from peak-bagging 14ers to grueling 13er summits and relentless high-country day hikes. Engineered to handle rapid changes in the elements, this piece was tested through every unexpected switchback, scramble, and ridge-line along the way. For this drop, we chose Bimini Blue—a vibrant, high-alpine hue that captures the clarity of a clear mountain sky. The Mission This release carries a deeper purpose beyond the trail. The mountain graphics are accented in Pink and Orange, representing our commitment to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS). A portion of every sale goes directly toward supporting the endurance of those on the path to a cure. Tech Specs The Fabric: 4.0 oz Ultra-Lightweight (Advanced Moisture-Wicking Poly-Blend). Founder’s Note “Project 09 started as a personal challenge to push through nine of Colorado’s iconic 14ers this season. But true endurance isn't about blindly following a route—it's about having the grit to adapt when conditions turn, whether that means pivoting around road closures or battling through the unexpected. That same adaptability and resilience is shown every day by those facing MS and Breast Cancer. We wear these colors to show that no matter how the path changes, no one climbs alone.” Gonzo Outdoors: Gear for the Path. Heart for the Mission.
