The Acer pattern was designed by Amy Christoffers. Our sample was knit in Miss Babs Yowza in the Oyster colorway. Acer saccharum are the Sugar Maple trees that surround Amy's house , and this sweater was named for the resemblance of the stitch pattern to the tree’s bark. Acer is a satisfyingly versatile cardi with eyelets and cables, vintage flavored but modern. It is fun to knit and is incredibly wearable. You'll need 2 or 3 skeins of Yowza, depending on the size, to complete this project. Choose the original colorway below − or try another color!
