What Are ISO Project Closure Templates? ISO Project Closure Templates are a set of structured documents designed to help organizations formally complete, review, document, and clos e projects in a consistent and controlled manner. The templates help project teams confirm that planned deliverables have been completed, outstanding activities have been addressed, resources have been released, project information has been handed over, and lessons learned have been captured. They are particularly useful for ISO implementation projects, certification projects, management system improvement projects, compliance initiatives, process improvement projects, technology projects, and other organizational projects. A structured project closure process also supports quality management in projects. ISO 10006:2017 provides guidance for applying quality management to projects and covers areas including measurement, analysis, improvement, resources, management responsibility, and project quality planning.
