The Dog Tooth Lily pattern was designed by Beatrice Perron Dahlen. Our sample was knit in Miss Babs Woodbury in the color Sunny. Dog Tooth Lily is named for the genus of flowers that blooms first here in Maine. Never thinking myself a bright yellow type of person, I can’t get enough of that color come March. Lily is worked top down starting with a garter tab cast on. Increases are made at both edges to create a crescent shawl, with a flowery all-over stitch pattern. The picot bind off gives this simple shawl an elegant finishing touch. You'll need two skeins of Woodbury to complete this project. Choose the original colorway below - or try another color!
