The Metamorphose pattern was designed by Lucy Hague for the 2016 Knitting Tour. Our sample was knit in Killington in the Escher colorway. The slowly morphing cabled lines of this cowl/infinity scarf were inspired by the work of Dutch artist M. C. Escher, and his artistic experiments with tessellating patterns and negative space. This piece is worked in the round as a seamless tube, then grafted with a half-twist to form a Möbius-type strip. You'll need two skeins of Killington to complete this project.
