The Simee Dimeh pattern was designed by Romi HIll. Our sample was knit in the Eastern Slope Polydactyl Set. Simee Dimeh (literally double water or double springs) is the native American name of an eastern Sierra Nevada mountain pass in northern Nevada. Right down the road from Dead Horse Flat, it’s the last pass between town and my high desert home near the Antelope Valley. This shawl uses a special set of 7 colors from Miss Babs in concert with texture, lace, and mosaic knitting to produce a colorful and textured homage to northern Nevada and the eastern slope of the Sierras. You'll need one Polydactyl Set, or seven Yummy 2-Ply Toes, to complete this project. Choose the original colorway below − or try another color combination!
