Tonearm & Anti-Skating The tonearm on the T2 has been improved with a longer arm tube. With its 9” effective length and stiff aluminium construction, this one-piece tonearm also features new updated low-friction bearings to accommodate the increased length and diameter for absolute accuracy in use. The motor drives a belt system, connected to the newly designed sub-platter exclusive to the T-line. Where most alternative products may use un-regulated DC motors with wide speed fluctuations, the T2 features Pro-Ject’s proven system of an electronically regulated, precision-speed AC motor. The T2 also comes with electronic speed switching between 33 and 45 RPM. The result is a low-noise, stable drive system for the turntable.
