The Wintersong pattern was designed by Nadia Crétin-Léchenne. Our sample was knit Katahdin 437 in Bougainvillea and Sparkling Sand. Wintersong is a triangular shawl, which is knitt ed in a fun way, with a “central spine." Thus, you never have many stitches on the needle, and the progress is visible and motivating. It presents an alternation of garter stitch sections - which offer a few rows of meditative knitting - with sections of a pattern stitch mixing cables and lace.
