Scratch NDR PAS is the open version of the iconic T-shape ergonomic saddle specific for XC mountain biking, but also with applications in gravel and road cycling. This light, comfortable and high-performance saddle is the off-road evolution of the already successful Scratch M5. A new saddle with racing DNA, specifically designed to compete and win in XC and Marathon races at the highest levels. Anatomical shape The anatomical shape of the new Scratch NDR PAS (250 x 240 mm) has been redesigned to adapt to off-road disciplines, moving the "anatomical center" back by 5mm to increase the biker's freedom of movement and make pedaling in the rear position, typical of when tackling long climbs, more efficient. The round anatomical shape allows you to have extra support for the lumbar region helping even those with reduced pelvic mobility to maintain a stable position. Technologies This saddle, thanks to the larger PAS - Perineal Area System relief channel, reduces the compression of soft tissues, tendons and blood vessels ensuring regular blood flow. The Scratch NDR PAS inherits from the Scratch family the compact dimensions (250mm x 140mm) and the Multi Sector System technology: different mapped and separated zones, with specific features and functions for the XC and Marathon disciplines. The two lateral-rear sections are designed to guarantee greater stability and comfort when pedaling in a rear position on long climbs. The variable density foam padding is 3mm thicker in the back to provide maximum support. The cover of these sections is completely smooth, to facilitate movement out of the saddle. The innovative central-front section, on the other hand, is specifically designed to tackle the steepest and most technical uphill sections, thanks to a large flat surface that offers a comfortable support base even when it is necessary to pedal at the tip of the saddle. In this section, the covering features a Grip Cover with a horizontal texture, to maximize grip and help maintain the forward position in the saddle. Bases and Rails For the more performance-oriented bikers, who are looking for a rigid saddle and maximum lightness, the Scratch NDR PAS is available in the version with long fiber carbon base and Nack (Nano Carbon Fiber) rail made of carbon fiber, Kevlar and aluminum filaments. For those looking for more comfort, the second version is available with an injected carbon fiber base and TiroX rail in light alloy steel, a material with an excellent balance between weight and resistance, which gives the saddle less rigidity and greater vibration absorption.
