Perilla leaf and Platycodon root help expel Wind invasion. White atractylodes rhizome, Poria, Ginger rhizome, Red jujube fruit and Chinese licorice root and rhizome tonify the Spleen and Stomach to make them more resistant to invasion and bolster their digestive functions. A small amount of Chinese rhubarb rhizome and root is added to promote normal descent of digestive Qi and to relieve occasional bloat.
