A slowwear sneaker, drawn from a school shoe. Prototype-01 takes its outline from the Uwabaki — the soft, flat indoor shoe worn in Japanese schools — reworked here in lace-up form. The first of its kind. Recycled cotton canvas, assembled by hand and joined through vulcanised construction, shaped by heat and pressure.
