Planting: This plant is adaptable and thrives in various soil types, as long as it is well-drained. Select a planting site that receives full sun (at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day) or part sun (around 4 to 6 hours of sunlight daily). When planting, space each plant about 2 to 3 feet apart to allow for adequate growth and air circulation. Watering: Double Play® Spiraea are quite drought tolerant after one or two years in the ground. Although they tolerate dry conditions, it’s important to water them consistently. 3.
