The Silver Sky ruffled a couple of feathers when it was launched. This John Mayer signature guitar is based on his vintage Stratocaster from the 60s. The Silver Sky brings the Stra t recipe right up to date, with a host of small refinements that make it a lot easier to live with. So this is a guitar that plays beautifully, it's utterly comfortable and stable - but it doesn't do so at the expense of soul. Just a lovely instrument for any scenario, and in the best colour it ever came in.
