PT Harendong Twisted Leaf is an organic green tea from PT Harendong Green Farm. The farm is located at an elevation approximately 2,700 feet near Mount Halimun Salak National Park in the westernmost Banten Province on the Indonesian island of Java. The garden has only planted a Taiwanese wulong cultivar of Camellia sinensis sinensis in the rich volcanic soil of this pristine mountainous region. After harvest, the leaves have been twisted and allowed to oxidize very slightly. The large leaves unfurl to yield a rich, smooth, light- to medium-bodied infusion with grassy, earthy and subtle floral notes. Leaves may be infused multiple times. Tea is priced by the ounce.
