What You Get The Green Lace Gorgonian (Pterogorgia citrina) is a photosynthetic gorgonian found in shallow Atlantic waters off Florida. Instead of thick rods or heavy branching, it forms narrow, flattened blades that twist, fork, and weave into a delicate, lace-like network—giving your reef a lightweight, airy silhouette. Blade coloration typically ranges from tan–yellow to yellow-green, often accented with purple or darker edge markings. Polyps emerge along the flat surfaces, adding fine texture and subtle motion in the flow. This species can be clustered with others of its kind to build a natural “lace thicket” that moves as a unit under full-spectrum lighting.
