PTL-VM2 is a compact Vaccum Dip Coater with a color touch screen controller. The sample (Max.1" dia. x 3"L) can be dipped and pulled in a vacuum-sealed 2' dia quartz tube with rotation. SPECIFICATIONS: Quartz Tube & Vacuum Sealed Quartz tube size: 50 mm OD x 44 mm ID x 300 mm L, one end closed and one end open. SS304 vacuum flange seals the quartz tube with KF 25 port to connect the vacuum port and a needle valve for the gas inlet with 1/4" fitting The KF 25 port on the top flange will connect to scalable below and vacuum-sealed rotary and moving fixtures. Solution ( liquid ) will be put inside the quartz tube without a crucible. Vacuum level: 10-2 torr by mechanical pump and 10-5 torr by a turbopump. One is for moving up and down, and one for rotation One SS304 rod is connected to the motors for dipping and pulling samples.
