Capacity: The EPM retains its 150-round capacity and its legendary consistency and feeding reliability. Dupont Zytel Polymer Shell: This extremely rugged polymer that PTS uses in our Enhanced Polymer product line allows the EPM to withstand a significant amount of field use and abuse. Bright Orange Full Load Indicator: When the magazine is fully loaded, an orange follower appears at the base of the clear bullet window. This is a notable design feature unique to the EPM as it allows the end user to pick up any EPM magazine and immediately know if the magazine is full and ready to use. It also works as a visual indicator to let the user know when to stop loading the magazine. Angled Base: The bottom of the base plate is designed with an angled surface that allows the end user to rest the gun on any flat shooting surface and have a greater contact surface for increased shooting stability. The angled surface is minimized to the point of being functional, but still comfortable to hold when removed from pockets and also does not inhibit the closure of the flaps on closed magazine pouches. The front of the baseplate has also been designed with a grooved protrusion that aids in easier extraction of the magazine from deep magazine pockets and can assist the end user in properly indexing the magazine. The basic dot matrix pattern allows for personalization and magazine identification. Continuous magazine guides reduce snagging when magazine is removed and returned to pockets.
