Mortica Studio is a project founded by Liv Masterson, focusing on handmade, one-of-a-kind and up-cycled pieces. Each Mortica garment is made in Brooklyn, NY using a careful selecti on of second-hand clothes, deadstock fabrics, and upcycled materials. Our studio honors the intimate processes of traditional craft in contemporary explorations of silhouette, print, and fabric manipulation. Each piece is unique and celebrates the imperfections and one-of-a-kind nature of upcycled materials, just like those who wear them.
