The Puig R-Racer Windscreen is engineered with inspiration from professional racing to deliver enhanced aerodynamics and improved rider protection. Its taller profile helps reduce wind pressure against the rider's helmet, providing greater comfort and stability at higher speeds. Constructed from durable 3mm high-impact acrylic, this windscreen offers excellent strength and long-lasting performance. Models manufactured from 2004 onward feature smooth, rounded edges on windscreens thicker than 2mm, meeting German TÜV safety standards without requiring additional edge trim. Developed in collaboration with WorldSBK and endurance racing teams, the R-Racer windscreen has been extensively tested in wind tunnels to optimize airflow, increase wind protection, and improve aerodynamic efficiency. Wind tunnel test data is included with most Puig windscreens. Features 30 mm higher than the original.
