Easter Eggers are one of our favorites! They are friendly, great layers of large eggs. Their smaller body size makes them good in the heat, and their small pea comb means they do well in the cold, too, because they are not as susceptible to frostbite. They are often not especially good winter layers, though. Please note that while they chiefly lay blue or green eggs, they may (rarely) lay a different egg color, including tinted, white, brown, or even pinkish eggs. Because this is a hybrid variety (not a breed), we wouldn't blame you for having a whole flock of them because they come in so many different colors! These juvenile chicks are sexed twice, once at hatch and again at six weeks old, which reduces your chance of ending up with roosters. The minimum order is just 2 chicks! Additional Pullet Information These pullets will be vaccinated for Marek's disease and MG (Mycoplasma gallisepticum) Our six-week-old started pullets are floor-raised and socialized with humans, and their beaks are intact--we never trim. Pullet Shipping Information All Started Juveniles are shipped USPS Priority Mail Express. Due to import regulations, we cannot ship to Iowa, Nevada, West Virginia, Texas, or Hawaii. Pullets will ship on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday of the designated shipping week. You will receive an email with tracking information once they leave the farm.
