Pumped Up Kicks is a bold uppercase display font with uneven letterforms and an irregular baseline. It was designed for large type on posters, packaging, branding and merchandise. Repeated letters are usually what give a digital font away. Pumped Up Kicks includes at least four versions of every A–Z character, with up to eight versions of some letters. The main alphabet sits on the uppercase keys; the lowercase keys hold another set of uppercase characters. Stylistic Alternates Use the lowercase keys for the first set of alternates. You’ll find the remaining versions in the Glyphs panel in software that supports OpenType. Swap them as you work to stop repeated letters looking identical. Ligatures Pumped Up Kicks includes 45 ligatures for letter pairs such as LO and RA. Type in uppercase and supported software can replace them automatically. Alternates and ligatures are available through the Glyphs or OpenType panel in your design application.
