Monarda punctata Western Iowa source Bee Balm, but make it punk! Or whimsical... it might fit both descriptions. Either way, this odd green and pink flower adds a lot of intrigue in the garden. Humans, bees and butterflies will come to pay complement. Plants tolerate full sun and dry conditions, but will adjust to a bit of shade too. This perennial is also known as spotted bee balm, or horsemint. as of 7/21/25 these are just filling out in pints, and great size for our August 3 market at The Brenton Arboretum.
