Purdy amps are hand built in Edmonton and are based off classic 50's and 60's designs and feature all high end components and assembled by one person start to finish. Each amp is m eticulously built and carefully burned in for 24 hours. The Purdy "Princeton 5F2-A" circuit is modelled after a late 50's era 4 watt American made narrow panel tweed combo. Notable changes to this design include a larger cabinet and a 12" Jensen C12R 8 ohm speaker. Features a 6V6 power tube, 12AX7 preamp tube, and a 5A4 rectifier tube. Note: This is NOT a Fender amp.
