Gently warm the toe cap using a hairdryer or similar heat source be (particularly careful if using naked flames etc.) . While the leather is warm, rub two or more coats of beeswax into the toe cap. Remove excess wax using a polishing brush. Apply black or tan polish while the leather is still warm. Continue polishing to achieve a bulled finish.
