Playing cards reduced to pure data. Each card contains only the data that defines it - rank, suit, type. Every card is simply a JSON code block. JSON code is machine readable but humans can also read it. Scan the deck at danberg.art/puredata and the system renders the complete image of the card you would expect. 54 cards (52 + 2 corrupted jokers). 310gsm black core, linen finish. Silver foil tuck box. Poker size. Pure Data Playing Cards started as a small Kickstarter project back in March 2026. It ended up being 7 times oversubscribed! We committed to buying some decks while it was at the Kickstarter phase, and they have just arrived. It is unlikely there will be another production run. So once these have gone, that will be it. Please note - this is NOT a magic trick. The JSON code does show the value of the card.
