Lind Marine has been mining historic oyster shell deposits in South San Francisco Bay for use as ag lime soil amendments since 1906. The calcium carbonate in the oyster shells help s to neutralize acidic soils. After the oyster shell deposits are harvested, the shells are barged to and processed at our Collinsville plant, and then shipped to agricultural customers throughout the Western United States, Canada and the Pacific Rim.
