Unlike virtually every commercial sock on the market, these do not use nylon overplaiting (or any synthetic reinforcement) in the heel and toe. Most sock manufacturers add nylon because it’s cheap, strong, and gives “extra wear protection.” We chose not to, these are pure and natural.. they are however slightly more prone to wear, especially in tight shoes. A "true 2x2 rib" knit crew sock of the old-school variety, this sock has the great foot fit and stay of our technical socks. It is insulating, soft and cozy, and wicks moisture away like nothing you’ve ever experienced.
