This top of the range memory foam mattress with 2000 pocket springs really will give you a wonderful night's sleep. It is hand-crafted in Yorkshire and is beautifully upholstered in a micro-quilted knitted luxury stretch cover. At its heart there's a high pocket count 2000 spring unit, thick layers of traditional fillings, and an ample 75mm layer of V40 memory foam. The spring unit is also cradled in a wire frame for improved edge-to-edge support (something to look out for when choosing a well made bed). Pocket spring mattresses offer greater lumbar support than mattresses with open coil units as they have considerably more springs. Memory Foam works by moulding and re-moulding to your body’s contours as you move about in bed. It allows you to maintain the correct posture in bed and enables your spine to align horizontally when lying on your side. Remember – a similar but branded bed is considerably more expensive. It is also possible to have drawers in the base – they are available with one, two, three and four drawers in all sizes except single, which can have one or two drawers (all drawers can take a maximum load of 3kg). The divan bases are available in a wide range of colours and fabrics - see below. The divan sits on castors (or glides – optional extra, better suited to wooden floor boards).
