With tall branches containing feathery needle-like leaves that end in purple blushes of color on its tips, it is sure to add interest to your freshwater aquarium or pond. A good choice for beginners, it provides plenty of surface area for egg attachment, and hiding places for your fish and fry. Performing important tasks like oxygenating the water, it can help keep algae under control and maintain nutrient levels in the pond or aquarium. A background plant growing to a height as tall as 3’, recommended water parameters are temperatures in the range of 72° to 82° F, a pH of 6.5 to 7.5, and KH 3-8. Medium lighting is required.
