The PVC Cabinet is an electrically insulated freestanding feeder pillar, with no conductive pathways from the inside to the outside of the enclosure. Suitable for sites where two different earthing systems are within touching distance or where additional safety is required, such as in EV charging installations. Also available prewired according to customer requirements, ranging from MCCBs and ACBs, SPDs and RCDs, as well as industrial metering options i.e. the Ritherdon CT Chamber and other switchgear. PVC is an easily recyclable material with well established recycling routes making it a more sustainable choice, unlike GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic), a composite material which is difficult to recycle and contributes to landfill.
