Common Name: Chinese Pear Pyrus ussuriensis, also known as Harbin pear or Ussurian pear, is a deciduous tree belonging to the Rosaceae family. While it can withstand periods of drought, regular watering is recommended. At maturity, Harbin pear trees typically reach a height 7.6 to 9.1 meters and do best in full sun. Its ornamental features, including white spring flowers and reddish-purple fall foliage, make it a popular choice for landscaping as a shade tree, specimen tree, or in group plantings.
