Pyzel's Pyzalien 2 is a refined classic! Based off the original Pyzalien, the Pyzalien 2 is your one board quiver for all waves! The Pyzalien 2 comes standard with a swallow tail for added snappiness and spark! It's a daily driver with high-performance characteristics, loved by surfers of all levels from novice to pro. For years the original Pyzalien has been a go to board for many surfers as it works in pretty much all conditions. So for 2020 it was time for Pyzel to revamp this classic and make it even better! The Pyzalien 2 works really well in a wide variety of waves and features arguably the most user friendly, yet high performance rockers in the Pyzel range. The outline is smooth and clean, it has a medium to low entry rocker running through to medium to high tail rocker. The concave is a single starting in the nose and running under the front foot, this blends into a double concave through the fins and Vee through the last 6 inches of the tail. This concave makes it easy for rail to rail transitions and provides plenty of release through top turns. The combination of rocker and concaves on this model allow you to generate quick and effortless speed from take off, while increasing the boards responsiveness and control. There's no hips or wings in the Pyzalien 2 to keep the outline nice and simple. It has a fuller nose and wider tail which keeps the board very fast and drivey and makes for easy flow through flatter sections of the wave. The biggest change in the Pyzalien 2 from the original Pyzalien is a more domed deck with more refined rails. We recommend that you order it the same thickness, 1/4 to 1/2 inch wider and 2 or 3 inches shorter than your standard shortboard.
