The marketing team for Q-Tip has definitely done a good job toting the return of the old-Tip. In-stores in record shops (TTL LA!)? MPC on the album cover? Now let's see if the musi c matches... and it does! We're not talking about pre-Marauders (we have to get over that), but damn if "Gettin Up" doesn't sound as good as anything from Love Movement. It's got the Dilla-inspired beat and even rocks a dusty sample (Black Ivory).
