Application Notes Apply Q4 Plus to young, actively growing weeds for best results. For grassy weeds and yellow nutsedge, optimum timing depends on weed growth stage. Early summer treatments are generally more effective, while summer applications to older, drought-stressed grassy weeds may be less effective. Late summer applications to mature crabgrass can be effective according to the label. For broadcast applications on cool-season turfgrass, the label lists 7 to 8 pints per acre, or 2.6 to 3.0 fl oz per 1,000 square feet. For Bermudagrass and zoysiagrass, the label lists 5 to 7 pints per acre, or 1.8 to 2.6 fl oz per 1,000 square feet. Do not broadcast apply when temperatures are above 90°F.
