CHOOSE FROM MULTIPLE MOUNTING CONFIGURATIONS Proma Star Shocks are offered with either bearing mounts or polyurethane mounts. Bearing mount shocks minimize deflection and work well for misaligned mounts. They are ideal for situations where precise handling is required. These accept ½ inch diameter bolts and are 1 inch wide. Shocks with poly bushings reduce noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) making them a good choice for street-driven vehicles. They offer better comfort by absorbing feedback from the road surface. These come with 1/2” and 5/8” diameter sleeves and are 1 1/4" wide. Other mounting styles are available (sold separately) for T-Bar and stud-mount applications. Extended eyelets can also be used. Shock body diameter is 2 inches. Bearing mount shocks have a 1-inch wide x ½-inch bore bearing size. Bushing mount shocks have a 1 ¼-inch wide bushing with either ½-inch or 5/8-inch bushing sleeves. Shocks can be mounted in any orientation, either body up or down. Required spanner wrench: P/N T114W or T115W (sold separately). Optional thrust bearing kit: P/N 7888-109 (sold separately).
