There has never been a time working in the kitchen where I haven’t been eager to learn something new. That’s exactly what happened when I had the chance to hang with Trey Lamont at the Hot Stove Society. Trey’s Belltown Seattle Jerk Shack restaurant is home to splendid Jamaican flavors flanked by down-home hospitality. Trey’s jerk spice is a smoky, dreamy combination of fragrant spices, heady chilies, and aromatic alliums—a combination that radiates the charm of his grandmother's kitchen. While chatting about “the biz,” we stumbled upon his desire to explore the grocery space where he could sell his flavor-packed jerk spice across the country. Instead of reinventing the wheel, a partnership was born. We are extremely proud to welcome Trey and his “Jerk Spice” flavor explosion to the Rub With Love family of spice rubs, BBQ sauces, and mustards. This unique blend will undoubtedly elevate your culinary creations, infusing them with authentic Caribbean zest and a touch of soulful homeliness. Whether you’re a novice in the kitchen or an experienced cook, Trey’s Jerk Spice promises to transform your dishes into a celebration of bold flavors and aromatic brilliance. Add it to your pantry today and embark on a flavorful journey that brings the warmth and spirit of Jamaican cuisine right to your home.
