Please calculate always a few days for shipping your order. *** Intermediate level rail, recommended for indoor use and magnifications up to 50X *** The Qool Rail is an excellent choice for studio and home focus stacking work. It is recommended up to 50X and but we have some customers who are working up to 100x magnification with the Qool Rail. The minimum step size for this rail with 2mm pitch screw is 0.078125 μm (yes, it's really μm, so 0.000078125 mm) with the USB Controller, but practical step size is 0.3125 μm as we do not have equipment to test further. For higher magnifications and absolute precision you should look for the Ultra Rail Series. This set contains the USB-Controller. The included USB controller works with a laptop or PC. All settings are done in the included software that you can download in our download area. Your camera can be triggered automatically either directly from the USB controller via shutter cable or if your camera does not support wired shutter release then it can be triggered over Sony Remote, Canon EOS Utiliy or Capture One. If you prefer to work independently from your laptop, please choose the set with IR Controller. The rail is fully assembled, tested and fine tuned. Every single part is replaceable.
