When a surfer has their back foot over the front fins they are looking for down the line projection or to draw out longer, more stretched arcs. Our front fins reflect this with more rake, a longer leading edge and increased flex. In contrast, when a surfer has their foot positioned right on the tail and over the rear fin, they are trying to perform more radical, tight and sharper manoeuvres. In this instance, too much rake and flex can work against a surfer. In response, our rear fins are stiffer, shorter and with less rake. This all results in a fin set up that feels super engaged on rail and freer off the tail.
