Materials A blend of fibreglass, carbon, and an ultra-light honeycomb core. The honeycomb core reduces resin content keeping them lightweight. The carbon which wraps the fibreglass increases stiffness at the base of the fin. This gradually reduces to a medium flex through the tip and trailing edge for smooth and controlled turns. FCS II Compatibility Pacifica fins are compatible with FCS II finboxes. Our unique rear tab requires that one grub screw is inserted into the rear threaded hole of each finbox. All Pacifica Fins are sold with a fin key and six grub screws. This allows you to leave a set of grub screws in your two favourite boards. There are two benefits to this system. One, your Pacifica fins won't fall out. Two, when inserting and removing your Pacifica Fins you won’t crack the glass in your board around the finbox.
