Our Quaich Mini Thistle is made in Scotland. Traditionally offered as a cup of welcome or farewell the word quaich derives from the Gaelic 'cuach' which means 'shallow cup'. This s imple pewter cup with two handles know colloquially as 'lugs' was originally made from wood, horn or leather and later metal.
